Dithyramb

A Dithyramb is a sort of wild song sung in praise of Dionysus. This section of MeatRadio is a slow-moving Dithyramb, a place of wild enthusiasms.

In the Dionysian Dithyramb, human beings are incited to the greatest exaltation of all their symbolic faculties; something never before consciously felt struggles for utterance, the annhilation of the veil of maya . . .

--F. Nietzsche, The Birth of Tragedy, cited in Bishop and Stevenson, 2005, Friedrich Nietzsche and Weimar Classicism, pp. 44-45.
